3D Printing Filaments for Hobbyists
Our line of essential and advanced 3D printing filaments were designed with hobbyists and makers in mind. The printability of our materials helps ensure you get a successful first print whether it’s your first or hundredth project. With UV resistance and food contact approvals, our essential filaments are perfect for things around the house and garden.
Lignum PLA can be used to print beautiful flower pots and containers that feel and smell like wood. Our line of BioDuro PLAs is strong and tough enough for home and kitchen applications. Need a material with increased flexibility and soft touch that’s easy to print? Pilates PLA flexible 3D printer filaments are designed for great flexibility and to print almost as easily as standard PLA on Bowden style printers. For parts that need heat resistance and high toughness, our advanced filaments provide the best balance of strength and ease of printing. Our Ignis PLA prints like regular PLA but with increased heat resistance: it can be used where high temperatures are present, like your car dashboard or even a greenhouse. Both SnapPrint PP and SnapPrint PA have the properties you’d expect from a PP (polypropylene) and PA (polyamide/Nylon) material but are formulated to be easily printable on most desktop printers, making them more accessible to hobbyists and makers.
Hobbyists and makers will be pleased to know that our BioDuro, BioDuro Metallic, and Lignmum PLA filaments are biodegradable and industrially compostable. So, whether you’re creating a 3D-printed wand to go with a Harry Potter costume, a replica Starfleet communicator badge, or a classic car, you can be confident that both the results and any excess materials will be environmentally friendly.
We also offer PLA food-safe filament and 3D printer filaments that have UV-resistant properties, making items printed with them suitable for use outdoors. You could print an entire outdoor dinner set with plates, cups, and even utensils. Create a new game to play outdoors using game pieces you print at home. Our BioDuro PLA and BioDuro Metallic PLA filaments are available in several colors, almost all of which are FDA food contact compliant.
More experienced makers may want to choose from our advanced line of high-strength 3D printing filaments. These include our SnapPrint PA and Ignis PLA filaments, and our SnapPrint PP filaments. Whether your priority is temperature resistance, reduced warping, strength, elasticity, food safety, UV resistance, toughness, or impact resistance, you’ll find the desired combination of features among our advanced 3D printing materials.
No matter what kind of material or properties you need for your next DIY or creative maker project, we have the 3D printing filaments to suit your needs.
