PA-GF20 is a nylon copolymer reinforced with 20% chopped glass fibers giving it high strength and stiffness. This optimized glass fiber loading allows it print remarkably well and the use of chopped instead of ground glass fiber increases stiffness yet retains the exceptional toughness nylon is known for. It has significantly reduced moisture absorption and less stringing compared to other conventional PA6-GF materials. It is formulated to be UV and hydrolysis resistant for indoor or outdoor use and has an HDT/B rating of 220°C*. This extraordinary combination of properties makes it the ideal material for anything from jigs and fixtures to functional parts for high performance applications.
