PK-GF20 is a Polyketone (PK) compound reinforced with 20% chopped glass fibers resulting in high strength and stiffness. Compared to PA6 (Nylon 6), PK has very low moisture absorption and retains its dimensions and mechanical strength in humid environments. It also has higher fatigue, wear and chemical resistance than PA6 while boasting up to 60% reduction in CO2 emissions during production compared to nylon. It is formulated to be UV resistant for indoor or outdoor use and has an HDT/B rating of 180°C*. This exceptional combination of properties makes it the ideal material for any high performance functional parts in even the harshest environments.
